Sonia Williams-Branch 'Mommy Shorty', passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 51. She is survived by her 3 sons, David, Andre' and Devin Williams. Grandmother of Demi King and Dizney Williams. Sister of Rona Williams. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Branch is preceded in death by her husband, Toni Branch; Father, Rev. Elliott Williams; Mother, Carolyn Coleman-Gillam and Stepfather, Eddie Gillam; Grandparents, Rufus and Myrtle Williams, Peter and Thelma Coleman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration Service honoring the life of the late Mrs. Sonia Williams-Branch will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10 am, Rev. Reginald Landry of First Evangelist Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating. Interment private. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Due to Covid-19, face masks and social distancing are encouraged.
