BRENDA MILLER OBITUARY
Brenda Holmes Miller, age 81, a retired Secretarial Clerk at Touro Infirmary Hospital of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Sunday morning, August 21, 2022 at Oakmont Healthcare Center in Katy, TX. Brenda has been a resident of Katy since 2005 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Brenda was born on September 23, 1940 in New Orleans, LA to the late Mr. Roger Holmes and the late Mrs. Dorethe Holmes Aaron. Her mother was later joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. James Aaron, affectionately known to many of us as "Pops". Mrs. Miller's only sibling was the late Mrs. Carol Holmes Jones (Watson). Survivors include her children, Denise W. Wiltz and Donald T. Williams, Jr. (Ivy Michelle), as well as five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, two nephews, Kenneth Paul (Yvette) and John Michael Jones. Also survived by host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Brenda Holmes Miller will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
