Mr. Achille Paul Duronslet, Sr., a resident of Gretna, LA since Hurricane Katrina, departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Mr. Duronslet was born to the late Achille T. and Mabel C. Poche' Duronslet (Edna Prados Duronslet) on February 9, 1935 in New Orleans, LA. Loving husband of 60 years to the late Marlene Theresa LeSassier-Duronslet. Devoted father of Ingrid (former spouse, Paul), Achille, Jr. (Malinda), Troy (Dominga), Craig (Liliana) and Michael (Monique), (former spouse, Dian). Cherished brother of Alice Gueringer (the late Lloyd Gueringer) and Norma Monette (the late Eldridge Monette). Loving grandfather of Achille, III, Madelyn, Craig, Jr., Torin, Julian, Marianny, Isabella, Karina, Ayden, Christian, Dominic and Nico Duronslet. He will also be lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Achille Paul Duronslet, Sr., will be celebrated at St. Martha Catholic Church Infant Jesus of Prague Mission, 2555 Apollo Avenue, Harvey, LA 70058 on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10 am, Father Lic Nguyen, Celebrant.
