RICHARD JONES OBITUARY
Richard "Pig" Jones was born on November 24, 1967 to the union of the late Clarence W. Jones and Bernadette Boyd Jones (Andrew Johnson, Sr.). On Saturday, October 22, 2022 Richard was called to rest. Beloved husband of the late Delisha Bradstreet Jones. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-n-law, uncle, friend and cousin. Survivors include his children, Jasmine (Derrion) Crenshaw, Robin Bradstreet, Richard Jones, Jr. and Robert Jones; siblings, Rolanda (Wynn) Martin, Troy Jones, Monique (Tyrone) Allen, Anthony (Tammy) Jones, Andrew (Devonzel) Johnson, III, Denise (Abdul) Shaheed, Karen Johnson, Darlene (Dwayne) Johnson, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Jones is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Anthony Jones. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Richard "Pig" Jones will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, November 05, 2022 at 10 am. Interment Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, New Orleans East. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing encouraged.
