SYLVESTER BROWDER OBITUARY
Sgt Major (Ret.) Sylvester L. Browder, 73, died on Friday, the 4th of November 2022. A Funeral Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Sgt. Major (Ret.) Sylvester L. Browder will be held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 2403 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, November 19 2022 at 10 am. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 9 am in the church. Sgt Maj. Ret. Browder was born on February 7, 1949, the biological son of Sylvester Johnson and Albertine Carter Browder. Sylvester was raised by Tom Browder, who accepted him as his own son, as well as loved and cherished by Eva Johnson. He was a graduate of George Washington Carver Senior High Schools Class of 1966.
