ACelebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Emanuel Honeycutt will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10 am. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Traditional Jazz Funeral to follow. Interment will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003. Mr. Honeycutt transitioned from the arms of his loving wife into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. A native of New Orleans, LA, he was born on January 16, 1980 to the union of Delores Honeycutt and Terry Casby. He was raised in a loving home by his beloved grandmother, Delores Honeycutt. Emanuel was ambitious and hardworking. He achieved his Process Technology degree from River Parishes Community College, where he excelled and earned membership into the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He was employed with Turner Industries for many years. Emanuel married the love of his life, Kenyatta Denise Morris on July 20, 2018. He was a devoted father to his bonus daughter, Kendall Lauren Scott and was a dedicated husband. Emanuel was deeply loved by the Morris family and Mrs. Nell Morris cared for him as her own son, until the Lord called him home. In addition to his wife, bonus daughter and parents, Mr. Honeycutt is also survived by his siblings, Carl Honeycutt (Breyelle), Tywanda Honeycutt, Terry St. Amant (Lucreasy), LaToya Honeycutt, Jonathan Honeycutt, Dominique Raymond (Daniel) and Romaine Raymond.
