JUDY GUTIERREZ OBITUARY
Mrs. Judy Evans Gutierrez, age 75 of Saint Bernard, LA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022 in St. Bernard, LA surrounded by her loved ones. Cherished wife of the late Terry Lee Gutierrez, Sr. Devoted mother of Carla Gonzales (Larry), Vickie Gutierrez, and Terry Gutierrez Jr (Bertha). Proud grandmother of Paige Lambert (Kaleb), Terry Gutierrez, III (Katelin), Talor Gutierrez (Chelsey), Amanda Gonzales and the late Larry Gonzales, Jr. Great-grandmother of Cassidy, Emma, Kason, Brentley and Grace. Also survived and remembered by her siblings, Lester Evans and Joyce Serpas, along with her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gutierrez is also preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond and Myrtle Evans and brother, Donald Evans, Sr. Judy was a native of Saint Bernard Parish, LA, born on November 3, 1947. She dedicated her life to her loving family. After raising her children, she spent her days caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel, go to casinos and spend as much time as possible on a balcony above a beach listening to the waves. Judy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Roxanne (Roxy) Pichon for being such a loving caretaker over the last year. We would also like to express our love and gratitude to her granddaughters, Paige and Amanda, for providing such wonderful care of her during her final days. Family, friends and anyone who would like to honor Judy are invited to celebrate her life with us at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA 70085 on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1 pm. Interment St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, located across the street from the church. Visitation begins at 9:30 am in the church. Due to COVID variants, face masks and social distancing encouraged.
