ANTHONY SCEAU OBITUARY
Mr. Anthony Gordon Sceau, Jr., passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born in New Roads, LA on February 11, 1936 and moved to New Orleans, LA at a young age, where he would live the rest of his life. Mr. Sceau was the oldest son of the late Anthony, Sr. and Severine Jarreau Sceau. To forever cherish his memory, Anthony leaves behind his companion, Brenda Oatis; sons, Micheal Sceau (Myra) and Christopher Sceau; grandchildren, Jasmine and Kelbi. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sceau is also preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew and Burnell Sceau. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Anthony G. Sceau, Jr., will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70117 on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1 pm. Interment St. Roch Cemetery. Visitation 12 noon in the church.
