She was a lifelong member and volunteer at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in New Orleans. She served on its board of directors and worked tirelessly on events and projects to benefit the church community. She received the Order of St. Louis Medallion Award by the Archdiocese of New Orleans for her volunteerism in support of her parish. Adele enjoyed gathering with family and friends and was most often the shining light and life of the party.
