GLORIA ALEXANDER OBITUARY
Mrs. Gloria May Farve Alexander, a native New Orleanian, transitioned peacefully from this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home in New Orleans. Mrs. Alexander was employed as a front counter clerk for Russell's Cleaners before her retirement. Wife of the late Charles Alexander. Daughter of the late Antoine and Josephine Brown Farve. Survivors include sons, Melvin (Sherri), Gilbert (Vernice) and Terry (Wonda) Hayes; daughter, Catherine Hayes Jackson (Kevin); thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Gloria May Farve Alexander will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 12:30 pm. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Meyer Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70122. visitation 12 noon in the Chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
