PERNELL HOWARD OBITUARY
Mr. Pernell James Howard, a native of Phoenix, LA and longtime resident of Violet, LA, departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Pearl Howard. Son of the late James W. and Mary E. Howard. In addition to his wife, Mr. Howard also leaves to cherish precious memories, his children, Chris Eugene and Blake Howard; siblings, Carlos Howard and Bettina Howard. Also survived by four grandchildren, a host of other relatives, his church family and friends. A Funeral service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Pernell James Howard will be held at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1904 Goodwill Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 am. Interment Merrick Cemetery, Violet, LA. Visitation 10 am in the church. A musical honoring the late Mr. Howard will also be held at the above named church on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 6:30 pm, with visitation beginning at 4 pm.
