Rev. Dr. Alton Reed passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Rev. Dr. Alton Reed will be held at First Baptist Church, 3737 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA 70085 on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11 am, Rev. Dr. Raymond Allen Smith, Officiating. Visitation 10 am in the church. Interment First Baptist Church Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA. A viewing will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 3 pm until 5 pm.
