ANNETTE KELLEY OBITUARY
Mrs. Annette R. Kelley, a retired educator of mathematics in the Orleans Parish School System, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, January 9, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Annette was a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., serving continuously for more than 48 years. She was also a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Sedona McCarthy Court No. 125. Mrs. Kelley leaves to cherish precious memories, her children, Bryan Kelley and Terri Kelley-James (Earnest); grandchildren, Angelle Kelley-Wilson (Timothy), Lauren Kelley and Breanna Kelley; great grandchildren, Anthony, Amiraye and Tristian; sister, Linda Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and Sorors. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Annette R. Kelley will be held at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church, 5621 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11 am. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4200 Norman Meyer Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Visitation begins at 8:50am in the church. Omega Omega Service at 9:30 am and recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10 am. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
