WILBERT WILLIAMS OBITUARY
Mr. Wilbert Williams, Jr., age 76, a retired Merchant Marine, transitioned of undetermined causes on Wednesday. He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons, Pernell and Jabari; daughter, Nekesha; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jadia; siblings, Quinn, Elliot, Kenneth, Kevin, Lavell, Patricia, Sheila Fermon, Phyllis Dumas, Melisa, Cheryl Grant, Emelda Banks and Brenda Hale. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Wilbert Williams, Jr. will be held at Beacon Light International Cathedral, 1937 Mirabeau Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11 am.
