SYLVESTER DANIELS OBITUARY
Mr. Sylvester J. Daniels, Jr., passed away on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 66. Mr. Daniels was born on August 22, 1956 to Jean Daniels-Thomas and the late Sylvester Daniels, Sr. Sylvester was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and later enlisted in the United States Army, where he served 6 years. He enjoyed his days as a legal assistant for 22 years. In addition to his mother, Mr. Daniels is also survived by a brother, Jerome Daniels; children, ValJeanne, Nicole and Joshua Daniels; three grandchildren and former wife, Pamela Buggage Daniels, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends; Pastor, officers and members of Pure Light Baptist and The Asia Baptist Churches; Staff and employees of Dialysis Clinic Inc. and The Office of Robert Harvey are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Sylvester J. Daniels, Jr., will be held at Pure Light Baptist Church, 3944 Martin Luther King Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 10 am, Dr. Andre' Z. Sigler, Teacher and Pastor, Officiating. Internment Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation 9am in the church. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
