VERNELL ENCALADE OBITUARY
Mr. Vernell 'Vern' Encalade departed this earthly life on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Valerie; father of Ashley and Aaliyah; grandfather of Lola. Beloved brother of Bridgette (Lawrence) Walker and Danny (Sandra) Encalade. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Vernell 'Vern' Encalade will be held at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11 am, Bishop Henry Ballard, Jr., Officiating. Visitation 9 am in the church. Interment Private. Repast at Braithwaite Auditorium, 1253 LA-39, Braithwaite, LA 70040 at 1 pm. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
