Mrs. Cynthia Heard Griffin, age 73 was born on September 17, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph and Almeria Heard. She departed her earthly home on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Cynthia is the beloved sister of Sandra Heard; the late Joseph, Howard, Calvin, Linda and Gwendolyn Heard, Lillie Mae Griffin, Carrie Robiskie, Delores White, Gloria Brown and Jeanette Alexander. Godmother of Raven and Ryli Ramee. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Cynthia Heard Griffin at The Asia Baptist Church, 1400 Sere Street, New Orleans, LA 70122 on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10 am. Interment Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003. Visitation 9 am in the church. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
