RICHARD KENDRICK OBITUARY
Richard Louis Kendrick, Sr. departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 87. Son of the late John Sr. and Hilda Kendrick. Beloved husband of the late Doris G. Kendrick. Devoted father of Darral (Kim), Wayne (Theone), Jamal (Toyia), Kenya (Danna) and Kishan Kendrick, the late Richard L. Kendrick Jr. Brother of Leroy, the late John, Jr., Anthony, Bernard, Esther, Irvin and Lionel Kendrick. Also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two Godchildren, companion, Gwendolyn Shields, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends and coworkers of Louis Armstrong International Airport, Tulane University, The City of New Orleans, NOPD and Ochsner Baptist Hospital are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Mr. Richard L. Kendrick, Sr. will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10 am. Interment private.
