FAY FERRAN OBITUARY
Fay Aperwhite Ferran entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Elias Jesus Ferran, Sr. Mrs. Ferran was also preceded in death by her parents, Willie Raymond Aperwhite, Sr. and Muriel Barbarin Aperwhite. Loving mother of three children; one daughter and two sons, Elias J. Ferran, Jr. (Pamela) and Elliot J. Ferran (Chandra). She also leaves to cherish precious memories, four adored granddaughters, Kai, Lauren, Lisa and Leila Ferran; siblings, Cabrini A. Huntsberry (Derek), Karen A. King (Herman), Willie R. Aperwhite, Jr. (Lynette) and Don A. Aperwhite (Patricia); an uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends who mourn her loss. Her love was unfailing for her children and grandchildren to her death. Mrs. Ferran was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and Xavier University (New Orleans, LA). She was a commissioned officer in the United States Army and recently retired as the Family Support Program Manager for the U. S. Army Reserve. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Fay Aperwhite Ferran will be held at Corpus Christi/Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70126 on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery #3, 3421 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation 9 am in the church.
