JACQUELYN FRANKLIN OBITUARY
Jacquelyn "Jack" L. Franklin, formerly of Braithwaite, LA, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Daughter of the late Frank and Julia Franklin. Devoted mother of Ashley Franklin (Ahmad, Sr.). Sister of Frank L. Franklin, Sr., the late Melzola Encalade, Evangeline Smith, Yvonne Franklin, Randell and George Franklin, Sr. Beloved grandmother of Aubrianna, Ahmad, Jr. and Ariella Goldsboro. She retired from the Plaquemines Parish Public School System. Relatives and friends of the family; Pastor, Officers and members of Israelite Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Jacquelyn "Jack" L. Franklin will be held at Israelite Missionary Baptist Church, 144 Villary Street, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11 am., Rev. Kevin Gabriel, Sr., Officiating. Interment English Turn Cemetery, Braithwaite, LA. Visitation 10 am in the church. Due to COVID variants, face masks and social distancing encouraged.
