Mrs. Maxine Clementin, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. She is preceded in death by her mother, Louzon Clark; in-laws, Louis and Angela Clementin; brothers, Jimmie Barnes, Sr., Darrell and Sylvester Clark; brothers-in-law, Louis, Jr. and Rodney Clementin, Sr. Maxine leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Whitney Clementin; children, Dwan (Harold) Nash, Jr., Whitney (Lynelle) Johnson and Sherra (Casey) Bemiss; siblings, Esther Kenner, Lucille Guillmet, Karen and Michael Clark; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Joycelyn) Clementin, Sr., Mitchel (Sandra) Clementin, Sr., Sylvia (the late Wilfred) Smith, Brenda (the late Huey) Smith and Mary Catherine (the late Rodney) Clementin; devoted friends, Lugene and Gwendolyn Sims, a host of other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Maxine Clementin will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2202 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10 am.
