SALLIE SHARP OBITUARY
Sallie Emma Sharp was born in Lismore, LA on January 18, 1954 and sadly departed her earthly home on Friday, March 31, 2023. She resided in New Orleans, LA for most of her life and was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School. Sallie was employed by Katz and Besthoff for many years, until they closed and was also employed by Rite Aid and Walgreens until her passing. Survivors include five sisters, one brother, a Godchild, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life and legacy of the late Ms. Sallie Emma Sharp will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 0n Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 am. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation 9 am in the Chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing encouraged.
