JULIA WEATHERSBY OBITUARY
Julia Mae Weathersby passed away peacefully at Emory Hospital in Atlanta GA on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born May 30, 1938 in Gloster, MS to the late Collis Weathersby and Lourener Shrophire. In addition to her parents, Ms. Weathersby is also preceded in death by siblings, Joan Vannorman, Charles Robinson and a devoted cousin, Lionel Rogers. She is survived by siblings, Gloria Blake, Jenice Bates, Dolly Robinson, Moses (Mytris) and Mack (Judy) Robinson and sister-in-law, Toni Robinson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. All are invited to attend a Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Ms. Julia Mae Weathersby in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10 am. Interment Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty, MS. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
