WILBERT ROCHÉ OBITUARY
Wilbert Joseph Roché, Sr., began his journey to be with God in his eternal home on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Mr. Elliot, II and Mrs. Eve Guesnon Roché. Husband of Shirley Lemelle Roché. Father of Wilbert J. Jr., Alton (Jacqueline) Dana (Terry) and Jeffrey Roché (Robin). Brother of Elliot, III, Loretta (Sidney), Clement (Ola), Eugene (Elaine), Maxson (Donna), Terry (Pamela) and the late Paul , Nathaniel and Jerome Roché, and his twin sisters. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brittnaé Roché Domeaux (Frank), Joshua, Kayce and Jude Roché and Taylor Davis (Kendall); great-grandchildren Sage, Savanna, Kendall, Jr. and Kade, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Relatives and friends; Priest and Parishioners of Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church; Staff and employees of the City of New Orleans Dept. of Property Management are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Wilbert Joseph Roché, Sr. will be held at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10 am. Interment St. Louis Cemetery #3. Visitation 8 am in the church. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
