DAVIS ALEXANDER OBITUARY
Davis Augustus Kelly Alexander, a retired supervisor for the Orleans Parish Sewerage and Water Board, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 77. Son of the late William Augustus Kelly and Mary Alexander. Husband of the late Jeanette Heard Alexander. Father of Lisa Falgout, Huey P. Dunomes (Cynthia), Erica Danielle Alexander (Tiffany) and the late David Alexander. Brother of Ivory Varnado, Sandra Alexander and the late Joseph Bland. Brother-in-law of Sandra Heard. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends; Staff and employees of the Orleans Parish Sewerage and Water Board are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Davis Augustus Kelly Alexander will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10 am. Interment Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Highway, Metairie, LA. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
