TRABAZA BILLEW OBITUARY
Trabaza "Trady" Billew, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Ochsner Medical Center surrounded by her children and family. Trady was born on March 12, 1959 to the late Myrtle Landor Billew (Murphy Billew, Sr.) and Paul Marigny. Proud mother of Keithen Billew (Maria), Kayron Billew (Clinton), Travon Billew Washington (Damion) and Shavon Billew. There was nothing she would not do to ensure their happiness. Trady adored her twelve grandchildren, Anthony Phillips, Kaheim Billew, Wayne Journee, III, Keyria Billew, O'shun Billew, Zayne Journee, Shiloh Washington, Cori Goodjoint, Kinsley Johnson, Teyana Washington and soon to arrive baby girl, Coda Stewart and the late Keithen Billew, Jr; siblings, Deborah, Reginald (Marie), Artisha (Billy), Tyrone (Cheryl) Billew, Troylyn Billew Palmer (Don, Sr.), Gladys, Warren, Gail, Terry, Eric, Cathy Marigny, Rosa Butler, the late Shelia Brumfield (Gregory, Sr.), Murphy, Jr. and Wendell (Lydia) Billew and Raymond Marigny. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Trabaza "Trady" Billew will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10 am. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Due to Covid variants, face masks and social distancing strongly encouraged.
