Abrielle Terrilyn Jackson, age 16, affectionately known to her loved ones as our Angel "Abby", departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Tyler, TX. Abrielle was born on December 19, 2006 in New Orleans, LA, the eldest daughter of the late Shuntell Gabrielle Magee and Michael "Mikey" Devon Jackson. She attended Resurrection of our Lord School, from grades K-7, Kipp Believe for 8th grade and currently attended Eleanor McMain Secondary School as a 10th grade honor roll student. Abby was also a part of the school's leadership team and a participant in the college track program. She was very passionate, loving and excited about life. Abby was born to be a true leader in the years to come. She leaves to cherish precious memories, her beloved siblings, Nehemiah, Samyrah and Khaleb Jackson; grandparents, Robert L. Magee, Malinda L. Duckett and Leroy Bell; aunts, Tyra Mitchell and Shonna Duckett; uncles, Rashad Magee, Lavar and Durmaine Duckett, Ronald and Rojankovsky Jackson; a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Abby is also preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Margaret B. Magee. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Ms. Abrielle Terrilyn Jackson will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116, on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10 am. Interment: Providence Memorial Park. Visitation 9 am in the chapel.
