Sharon Marie Mornay Bright entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Lester and Sylvia T. Mornay. Beloved Mother to Latasha Bright Johnson (Jerome C. Johnson) and Harrison Bernard Bright, Jr (Christy Bright). Sister to Karen Mornay Thomas and the late Kenneth Mornay, Sr. Beloved "Gigi" to Sydnee Reese Johnson, Dallas Avery Bright, and Camryn Sorell Johnson. Sharon is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. The family invites family and friends to attend her Homegoing Services. A Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Sharon Mornay Bright will be held in the Chapel of Roses at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10 am. Visitation begins 9 am - 10 am. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122. Due to COVID variants, face masks and social distancing encouraged.
