Obituary for Dorothy Mable "Doll" Smith

Dorothy (Doll) Jones Coleman Smith was born in Boothville, LA to the late Rev. George and Clara Jones. On Monday, August 20, 2018 God sent His angel to summon Dorothy. She heeded her Master's call and peacefully entered eternal rest at the tender age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Roosevelt Coleman and the late Herman Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving children Rozelia (Richard) Herbert, Evangeline Henderson, Lynn Coleman, Dianne Pazon and Denise (Fidel) Suazo. Preceded in death by her children Bernadine Foley, Roosevelt, Ferdinand and Randolph Coleman, Joel Smith, Cathy Smith King and grandchildren Ennis and Byron Foley, Junior Pazon and great grandson Davis Foley. Also survived by a host of 44 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, Pastors, officers, members of True Vine MBC, Greater St. Stephens, New Home Ministries, Rock of Ages B. C and neighboring churches, NOPD, and the Orleans Parish Sheriff Dept. are invited to attend the Celebration on Life on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Caffin Ave. International Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1029 Caffin Ave. New Orleans, LA 70117. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. pastor James Roberts will officiate. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Park.
